Job Readiness Training

Job Readiness Training (aka Work Readiness Training) prepares a student for seeking and maintaining employment through the use of instructional activities and peer support. The purpose is for the student to learn lifelong skills in the areas of accessing labor market information, identifying job openings, understanding the application and interview process, responsibilities, problem solving, motivation and on-the-job behavior. Students may also receive assistance in choosing a vocation or job consistent with their aptitudes and interest.

Racham, LLC has Employment Specialists that are ready to assist students in learning to complete job applications, job search techniques via internet, conduct assessments to determine work preparedness, offer instruction in interviewing techniques, and role playing to ensure that students are properly prepared to engage in competitive employment.

Students may be referred to this service if supports/training is needed in one of the following areas:

– Job Retention Skills
